Working Principle

The diode laser hair removal machine is based on the selective dynamics of light and heat. Laser light penetrates the skin's surface and reaches the root of the hair follicle. The light can be absorbed and converted into heat damaged hair follicle tissue, so that hair loss regeneration without injury surrounding tissue. ▶ How do I use a portable diode laser for hair removal?
1. Cleaning: Before treatment, clean and disinfect the treatment area and the laser epilator.
2. Shaving: To better transmit energy to the hair follicles and prevent surface hair from absorbing energy and reducing treatment comfort, shaving is necessary.
3. Applying Cooling Gel: Cooling gel can reduce discomfort during treatment. Before starting treatment, apply an appropriate amount of cooling gel (usually 2 mm thick) to the treatment area. 4. Set treatment parameters: Adjust the pulse width, power, and frequency from low to high for the optimal user experience.
5. Hair removal: Press the handle (sapphire) against your skin and slide it back and forth 6-7 times. During treatment, observe changes in your skin. If there are no noticeable changes, increase the power until you feel warmth and a flush appears in the treated area.
6. Cleanse and cool: After treatment, clean the treated area again and apply a local ice compress for 10-15 minutes as needed. For the device, return to the menu from the treatment screen, turn off the device using the push button, and clean the sapphire with a tissue.

No. The number of treatments and the laser energy used will vary depending on the area being treated and the hair's condition. This is because hair thickness, density, and regrowth capacity vary from area to area.

Generally speaking, the denser the hair and the thicker the hair shaft, the higher the laser energy required, and the more treatments are needed.

▶Does laser hair removal affect sweating?

No. Even if the hair follicles are completely removed, the ducts of the sebaceous glands still exist, allowing sebum secreted by these glands to be excreted normally. Sweat is excreted through the sweat gland ducts, independent of the hair follicle ducts. For example, the palms of your hands do not have hair follicles, yet they can sweat.

▶What precautions should I take after hair removal treatment?
1. After the treatment, the treated area may feel slightly hot and red around the hair follicles. This is normal. If needed, apply an ice compress to the area for 10-15 minutes.
2. Any remaining hair in the treated area can be plucked within 24 hours or will fall off naturally within a few days.
3. On the day of treatment, please wash your face with cool water and use liquid skincare products.
4. After hair removal treatment, please moisturize and use sunscreen.
